LIC Jeevan Labh (736)
Endowment PlansFill in the details below to estimate your premium instantly.
Basic Sum Assured (BSA)
The minimum amount guaranteed at maturity or on death, before bonuses. It's the base figure LIC uses to work out both your premium and your eventual payout.
How your age is counted
LIC rounds most savings-type policies to the nearest birthday when pricing premiums — so a 29-year-and-8-months-old is generally rated as 30. Some pension plans instead use your last completed birthday.
Policy Term vs. Premium Paying Term
Policy Term is how long your cover stays active. For most endowment plans you pay premiums for the full term — but a few plans (like Jeevan Lakshya or Jeevan Labh) let you stop paying years before the cover itself ends.
Why premium isn't just a flat rate
LIC applies a published "tabular rate" per ₹1,000 of cover for every age/term combination, then layers on a rebate for larger sums assured and a small discount for paying yearly or half-yearly instead of monthly.
